Adjectives

Qualifying adjectives serve to describe how a person or object is and unlike Spanish, they must be previously written to the noun, except with the verb TO BE, where the adjective must go after the verb.  
Examples
 The Empire State Building is very high - El Empire State es muy alto.
My brother is very tall - Mi hermano es muy alto.
Can you turn down the TV volume? It's very high - ¿Puedes bajar el volumen del televisor? Está muy alto
 
 An adjective qualifies a noun, while an adverb (an adverb) qualifies a verb, an adjective or another adverb.  
                                                          Type of adverbs  
 1. Mode: quickly, fast, well, badly, hard. 
 2. Place: far, where, there, here, up, down, behind, near, nowhere. 
3. Time: today, now, soon, still, yet, early, afterwards, late, ago, never, always, often, then, when, etc.
 4. Quantity: little, much, enough, remove, rather, too, etc. 
5. Denial: no, never, not, not at all. 
 6. Affirmation: yes, also, too, certainly. 
 7. Doubt: perhaps, maybe.an adjective or other adverb.
